Parishioners are asked to call the Parish Office and speak with one of our priests to request a Baptism.

The Sacrament of Healing is for those in need of strength during a sickness.
It is not necessarily related to death. Our parish priests will administer the sacrament upon request. Please contact the Parish Office at 301-622-1122.

St. John the Baptist offers weekly grade-specific Religious Education classes for children in grades K-8  who are not enrolled in Catholic school. These classes, which are taught by teams of volunteer catechists, provide each student with an increasing understanding of the basic tenets of our faith as they grow in their love of God.  Classes fill on a first-come basis

Religious Education for all Grades K-8 meets in the School on Sunday 10:15-11:25 a.m. Families are encouraged to attend Mass together.
