St. John the Baptist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland is seeking a part time Maintenance Technician to work under the Facilities Supervisor. The job includes maintaining a safe living and working environment for staff and visitors. The Maintenance Technician assists with all aspects of the property's maintenance including the physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, and emergency. 

Job qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years prior experiences
• Must be self-motivated and responsible, ability to work with minimal supervision
• Valid and current driver's license, with a clean driving record
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Active, participating Catholic whose lifestyle is consistent with the Catholic Church.

St. John the Baptist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland is seeking a part time accompanist to work under the Choir Director. The ideal candidate should be a self-disciplined, self-motivated individual who works well with others and is willing to devote the time and effort to this ministry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Piano accompaniment at weekend Masses every other week and Holy Days of Obligation
Work under the direction of and in collaboration with the Music Directors

Job Qualifications:

• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Candidate should be a self-disciplined, self-motivated individual.
• Educational Degree in a related discipline and experience in a Parish is desired.
• Candidate should have excellent musicianship skills (Instrumental/Vocal, read music well).
• Active, participating Catholic whose lifestyle is consistent with the Catholic Church.
